Pre-K through second grade students build technique and process. Upper elementary students apply those skills to their own creative work, while junior and senior high artists grow in independence and personal interpretation within HCA's biblical worldview.
This interactive, performance-based secondary course introduces acting, character development, script analysis, stage management, lighting, sound, and prop production. Past productions include Peter Pan, Annie, and The Music Man. Auditions take place at the start of each semester.
Students learn to praise the Lord through singing, reading, and performing music in class, chapel, and worship settings. Founded in 2021, the HCA Handbell Choir brings together musicians from across Northern Colorado under the direction of Amanda Silvestri, performing at festivals, schools, and community events.
Offered as a high school elective, the Worship Team gives students the opportunity to use their musical gifts to lead others in worship. The team is led by Jeremy Landis, HCA's Worship Leader.
Students learn journalism, reporting, writing, photography, typography, editing, design, advertising, and distribution while producing the current volume of HCA's yearbook and preserving the school's story with excellence.
