athletics Mission
The mission of HCA athletics is to develop student-athletes who glorify God in their character, effort, and teamwork. We desire for our coaches, players, and fans to represent Christ through excellent sportsmanship, respect for officials and opponents, and humility and grace in winning or losing. We strive to develop and do our best with the abilities that God has given to us. We emphasize selfless team play that results in unity and a positive Christian witness.
Athletic Director Spotlight
Both our girls’ and boys’ high school basketball teams finished special seasons with difficult losses just outside Alamosa this weekend.
Our middle school girls’ basketball team also finished with a gold bracket loss last Wednesday.
All our Eagles fought hard to the very end.
Our sports focus shifts entirely to Track and Field now, with our high school athletes already practicing daily and our middle school track athletes will start the Monday after spring break. You can expect another exciting and successful season out on the track and in the field for Heritage Christian Academy!
College Signing Day!
What a special day and special way to honor two long-time Heritage Christian student-athletes and their amazing accomplishments. Levi & Staci have been such faithful, humble, and hard-working contributors to our school and sports community. They truly epitomize everything we strive to see in our student-athletes, and they have been tremendous teammates and examples for their peers. They put Jesus and others first, and their drive for excellence in all, shines so bright! Congrats to you both!
