Dual Enrollment &
Honors

Through the new Heritage Christian Honors Program and our Dual Enrollment partnerships, students can earn real college credit — grounded in a Christ-centered classroom — before they graduate.

Preparing for What's Ahead

Equipping Students for the Next Step

Heritage Christian Academy's purpose is to equip and enable students to navigate the transition beyond high school — including career exploration, college selection, and academic enrichment — by providing personal support and customized counsel for each student.

Through Honors Dual Enrollment and continued AP coursework, students graduate with the tools, experience, and confidence to pursue their calling at the university level and beyond.

Partnering with Distinctively Christian,
Fully Accredited Colleges

Heritage partners with Christian colleges and universities to give students a head start on higher education.

Through Dual Enrollment, students earn real college credit while still in high school — grounded in a Christ-centered academic environment.

New for 2026–2027

The Heritage Christian Honors Program

Beginning Fall 2026 — starting with the current 10th-grade class (Class of 2028) — Heritage is launching the Honors Program and Honors Diploma in partnership with Cedarville University. This strengthens, not replaces, HCA's college-preparatory diploma: motivated students can take rigorous, fully accredited Christian college courses right here at HCA, earning high school and college credit at the same time.

Courses are taught in person by HCA faculty and overseen by Cedarville professors, and are designed to fit within students' existing schedules.

Grand Canyon University Dual Enrollment

Heritage also maintains a separate Dual Enrollment relationship with Grand Canyon University. GCU courses are not part of the Honors Program — each course requires administration approval before a student may enroll.

Family-Funded
Families are responsible for all GCU course costs, fees, and books — unlike the Cedarville Honors Program, HCA does not cover tuition for GCU courses
