The mission of HCA athletics is to develop student-athletes who glorify God in their character, effort, and teamwork. We desire for our coaches, players, and fans to represent Christ through excellent sportsmanship, respect for officials and opponents, and humility and grace in winning or losing. We strive to develop and do our best with the abilities that God has given to us. We emphasize selfless team play that results in unity and a positive Christian witness.
The athletic department works closely with families and the school to produce life-long followers of Christ who seek first the Kingdom of God. Academics are a priority, and each student-athlete must maintain the school’s standards in the classroom to participate in our sports program. We believe athletics can be a great vehicle for the gospel of Jesus Christ to be shared with the world.
